First Day Cover (stamp project)

With the photographs now taken I spent several hours editing them into a worthwhile image to be used as the main content for the stamp designs. Once I was happy with the final stamps I created this first day cover which acts as a presentation case for this collection. I used left over images to merge a sureal landscape across the first day cover, I desaturated the image which allowed the coloured stamps to stand out.

Coastline Images (Stamp Project)

This Week has been taken up with photographing the Yorkshire Coastline, the images are to be used on my Postage stamp project. I have been using a combination of photoshop and photomatix software to create my first HDR shots. I still have some refinement todo but I think the first round of editing has created some good results, especially as the wether has been very cloudy so the lighting has not been great.
